Project Explanation

Project theme:
grandmas kitchen meets chill-out lounge in harmony with nature Restorative and social space as part of a busy yoga studio to provide extra care and boost the yoga community with fresh juices and organic treats. For this project, the main focus was using raw and natural materials for all worktop surfaces.

Various stages of sanding the cedar wood for the juice bar counter top

Design Features

We used hardwood called Cedar of Lebanon with a waney edge to add a more organic look. The wood has a very unique and strong scent because of which it is very good to keep insects and bugs away. Its fragrance leaves a lovely sweet smell in the air. Our main reason for choosing this specific wood was its beautiful knots and wood texture. Very unique and outstanding look.
